Injection Medication

Injection Medication is currently the most successful treatment on the market. Delivering a 95% success rate among men for treatment of ED. It’s success is due to the fact that the medication can be fully altered to suit the individual whether it be a mix of medication to maintain an erection or a mix to gain an erection.

The injection delivers the medication directly into the required area, namely the penile rods, maximizing the efficiency and response time, and minimizing the risk of side effects. The drugs:
• relax the blood vessels feeding blood into the penis, allowing the blood flow to increase
• relax the muscle around the rods, allowing them to expand and so preventing “leakage” of the blood.
Injectable forms of Prostaglandin, Papaverine, Regitine, Phentolamine, Chlorpromazine and Atropine are used worldwide. A high level of satisfaction and virtual absence of any side effects makes this the preferred treatment for thousands of patients.

Possible Side Effects
Although side effects are minimal compared to other treatments, possibilities include:
• Priapism – This is an erection lasting for more than 3-4 hours, usually occurring only after the initial test dose of medication.
• Infection – Using a new syringe, a new alcohol swab and clean hands will minimise this risk.
• Bruising – Some men experience bruising until they master the technique. However, it is purely cosmetic and resolves in 3-7 days.
• Thickening or Curvature of the Penis – This is very rare with today’s minute doses. However, to minimise the risk of this, applying medication to alternative side’s of the penis, applying firm pressure to injection site and thoroughly massaging the penis to evenly distribute the medication is recommended.
